Artists wanted for the LOV light art festival in Chemnitz!

From September 24 to 27, 2025, the light art festival “Light our Vision” (LOV) will illuminate Chemnitz for the third time!

We are calling on light artists from all over the world to apply for the festival and become part of our creative team. This time, the festival route stretches from the train station, via the Aktienspinnerei, Schillerplatz and Theaterplatz, through Marienplatz, Brückenstraße with the Karl Marx Monument, Stadthallenpark to the Red Tower.

Theme: LICHT MACHT PLATZ (LIGHT MAKES SPACE)

Wanted: Light artworks in any form, including projections, light sculptures, interactive contributions, scenographic approaches, classical lighting art and walking acts.

Submission: Presentation as PDF, with idea sketch/motivation, self-presentation/VITA, at least two reference projects and work samples (image and/or video).

A work sample/short version is sufficient for the application and no finished work/finished video is required.
